Frequently asked questions
Where are my notes saved?
Only on your phone, in storage that no other app can read. They are never sent to us, and we cannot see them.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in. Open the app and start writing.
How do I keep a note at the top?
Open the note and tap the star. Starred notes appear under "Pinned" at the top of the list.
I deleted a note by mistake. Can I get it back?
Yes, for 30 days. Tap the bin icon at the top of the list to open the Trash, then tap Restore on the note.
Can I make a checklist?
Yes. In a note, tap the checklist button at the top. Each line becomes a tick box; tap it again to turn the list back into text.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty part of your home screen, tap Widgets, find Ranbhi Notes, and add it. Tap + on the widget to start a new note.
Will my notes move to a new phone?
Yes, if Android backup is turned on in your phone settings. Android copies the app's notes to your own Google account and restores them on the new phone.
How do I change the language?
On Android 13 and newer: Settings > Apps > Ranbhi Notes > Language. On older phones the app follows the phone's language.
Does the app show ads or need the internet?
No. The current version has no ads and works without an internet connection.
