1. Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and RANBHI TRADERS (developer name on Google Play: Ranbhi Traders; "we", "us") for your use of the Ranbhi Notes app for Android. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. How the app handles information is explained in the Ranbhi Notes Privacy Policy.

2. The app

Ranbhi Notes is a free notes app. You can write notes and checklists, colour and pin them, search them, add a home-screen widget and use your phone's voice typing. Notes are saved only on your phone.

3. Licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own use, under these terms and the rules of Google Play.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, except where the law allows this despite these terms, and not to use it for anything unlawful or harmful.

5. Your notes

Your notes belong to you. We cannot see them and have no copy of them.
Because notes are kept only on your phone, you are responsible for keeping them safe. If you uninstall the app, clear its storage, or lose or reset your phone without a backup, your notes may be lost permanently.
Android's own backup can copy your notes to your Google account if you have turned it on. This is provided by Android and Google, not by us.
Do not rely on the app as the only copy of important information.

6. Voice typing and other services

Voice typing uses the speech service on your phone, such as Google's, and sharing sends a note to the app you choose. Those services are provided by others under their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

7. Intellectual property

The app, including its code, design, name and icon, belongs to RANBHI TRADERS. These terms give you a licence to use it; they do not transfer ownership.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, change or stop offering the app or any feature. Some updates may be needed for the app to keep working. If a future version adds anything that changes how information is handled, such as advertising, we will update the privacy policy before that version is released.

9. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties of any kind, including that the app will be free of errors or that notes can never be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, RANBHI TRADERS is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of notes or data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending these terms

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your right to use the app if you break these terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Thane, Maharashtra, India have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
